Its been a long time since I posted anything so I thought I would put up some pictures of the ice storm that came through Altus at the end of January.  It’s the most ice I have ever seen.  The wind was blowing the ice sideways!  It iced the whole town over.  We were without power for  7 days and as of today I still hear that there are some on the outskirts of town without power.  Carley and Kendall were out of school for over a week so they loved the fact that we had no power!  It was a difficult time for a lot of people.  We were fortunate that we had gas logs in the fireplace and a gas stove.  Reluctantly we went out and bought a generator because we had no clue when the power would come back on but as it would go, our power came on less than 12 hours after we bought it.  Go figure!  Oh well, we have it for next time
